If you think that Adorama is just your run of the mill camera store, think again! Let’s just say that Adorama has a reputation….and it’s a darn good one! I first became aware of Adorama’s attention to their customers and photographer in the social world when Millie Holloman told me she had posted on Facebook that she was looking for a camera. Within minutes Joel Meisels (Adorama’s social media guru) called her on the phone with a fabulous deal on the camera body she was looking for. He made it so easy while not even being a salesperson but just offering info and support for her best interest. I’ve also seen since so many happy posts from fellow photogs raving about the amazing support they give their customers. They also have a Customer Service Ambassador “Helen Oster” who’s active on all the photog blogs and forums to assist in anyway. I’ve not had the chance to visit their store in NYC yet (soon, very soon!), but I’ve heard similar stories of how willing and helpful the guys at Adorama are to help you find what you need.

“When I first decided to move more into children and family photography than weddings I had no idea where to start. Her book is filled with so much information and I recommend it to EVERYONE who is wanting to become a children photographer. Skye is a lovely photographer (my favorite in the industry) and an even lovelier person.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Pounds Photographic Labs! As I’ve said in previous posts, here at LOVE AFFAIR WORKSHOP, we only invite sponsors that we absolutely trust, love, and use ourselves. I’ve personally (this is Kelly writting) been using Pounds Labs for almost 13 years now. I started printing with Pounds way back when I shot all film. I can tell you, I was the most annoying client in history!! Poor things at Pounds Labs had to call me DAILY to correct something I was doing wrong(this was way back when we had to tape negatives to individual cards).
Even back then, they always treated me with kindness and appreciated having me as a customer. Nothing has changed, and they still are always willing to answer questions, and help in any way they can. Oh, and of course, their quality is superb! Their turnaround is always quick, and I know my orders are going to be right. Not to mention, their online ordering system is easy to use, and if you need any help, they are always there to walk you through. As if all of this isn’t enough, Pounds is always doing their part to improve our industry. They are constantly hosting seminars at great prices to help their clients become better photographers. In fact, my first time to teach photography was at one of Pounds seminars 4 years ago.

I learned about Forbeyon about 4 years ago. Around the time I first heard about them, I was also very frustrated with my current album company. Forbeyon couldn’t have come into my life at a more perfect time!
Was it too much to ask to be able to pick up the phone and talk to a real person? Was it too much to ask to have a finished beautiful album produced in under a month?
