"Since Love Affair I have attained a studio space outside of my home...allowing me to separate my work from my home life. I have met some really incredible people in this industry because I was straight forward enough to approach them and ask their advice/opinions. I have formed some invaluable relationship with local vendors that constantly send brides my way. I literally DOUBLED the amount of money I made from Feb 2008 (I was in the 1st Love Affair group!) to Feb 2009...DOUBLED!!! We are due in mid April. Yippie for taking control!! ... it was totally freeing...Im completely different now than I was before going to Love Affair."

"This workshop has literally changed my life. There is no way possible for you to know what you have done for me. I’ve told you all this already but I feel like you have helped me direct my passion…. Gather my thoughts… push through difficult shooting… learn my equipment better… respect myself in this industry… and realize that my talent as a photographer is blooming and will yield limitless possibilities if I AM confident and believe in myself. You all have given me assurance that I can do this! I prayed endelessly for you girls while I was preparing for this and I’ve been blown away by what I’ve learned, seen and experienced.
I believed you girls when you said on the Love Affair website that we as women have love affairs with a lot of things in our lives, but this workshop gave me the opportunity to grasp that idea and to sit and think and journal...
I am leaving having learned more about my technique than I have in two years, to be more confident in my abilities to be aggressive – get the shot – process the shot – and be proud of the shot – and to manage my life in a way that allows me to run it – rather than the opposite. “Love Affair was an amazing learning experience. Millie, Kelly, Davina, and Lauren put their hearts and souls in to teaching us everything they know. The knowledge and advice they shared with us was priceless. They shared their secrets to maintaining a successful business, and they instilled in us the importance of balancing your life.
I learned Everything! I cannot begin to tell you the ways my business has grown. After Love Affair, my goal was to brand myself and focus on becoming full time. I am happy to report that I went full time in my business in May, and I have not slowed down since. Soon after the workshop, I began working with Brent, “Millie’s Brother”, on creating my brand. The results were fabulous! I still have a ton of ideas and goals that I am working towards in 2009. If given the chance, I would attend another Love Affair with these four inspirational ladies in a heartbeat.
Not only were there four amazing teachers but there were forty wonderful women so eager to learn and share with each other. It was a week full of new friendships and great conversations. Love Affair created a great support network that continues to grow.

..."The ferry might as well have been some fictional magical transport... It totally felt like an out of life experience. Like we were transported to some magical place, learned a bunch, then we were released back into our lives.
I came back on fire, ready to make a ton of changes... some with photography, mostly with life. I have made some, and I'm working on others... what an awesome experience it was. One of the best memories of my entire life.
